| Gear Head | Is This Rigid Fiberglass okay?
I emailed ArmStrong because they had Rigid Fiberglass at the Home Depot near me. The Rigid Fiberglass was 2'x4' and was 5/8" thick. I emailed them about the density. Their response was Hello Ryan. The density of Item 403 Esprit Fiberglass currently is 3.3 lbs/cubic ft. Thank you for contacting us. Regards, Denise Warfel ABP TechLine Armstrong World Industries Phone: 877-276-7876 Fax: 800-572-8234 Is this okay to buy as long as I compress them to be 4" total? Thanks. |

yes you can use them, but you are going to need to peel off any plastic (or what ever) they have on the face. You can then stack them to make a 4" piece. Glenn
