I would recommend you contacting specialist company Vibratec in Sweden or Norway. Vibratec - reducing noise, fighting vibration and protecting sensitive equipment (front page) (site in English)
They sell the ISO-CC40/60 hanger for Profilat40/60 rail. Sound insulation
improvements of more than 20 dB can be achieved. I'm using it in my recording room.

Don't suspend the ceiling have it fixed on the walls it won't communicate vibration up then. If your floor is isolated that's best.

Yes... but what if you don't have the space for building an isolated room in the room? These hangers are efficient absorbers.

There are indeed lots of cases were an elastic suspended ceiling can substitute supporting it on the walls where one needs to make sure one can span the whole enclosure (heavy construction).

Henri, just info, you mean decoupler/silencer NOT absorber .....
These things aren't physically meant to absorb or dissipate energy but to increase TL (caused by phase-relationship between the 2 decoupled masses).

Eric, Hi yes, you are correct. I was also about to write that what ever construction you choose let an acoustic engineer do the necessary calculations. When comes to hanging suspension elements, the efficient sound isolation Rw depends on an optimal N load per hanger. This value is of course specific to the make of element.
Cheers
