Thread Starter | DIY Iso Box What material would you use to isolate this box with on the inside. I already made the box but I only have this sorta stuff in it. Basically just kills treble. My question is: What is the right material to absorb bottom end. Cheers |

| 30mm thick RW3 or OC705 would be good. Anything 60kg/m or more should. I'd love to see some pictures of your box. I've been thinking of building a small box for a couple of hard drives...

Yeah, well mine is for guitar recording. I'm sorta giving up on the idea, cos the recorded tracks lack freshness, and perspective. These issues disappear whenever I don't use the iso box. I managed to quell the bass nasties inside the box but I think there's just always gonna be phase issues because of the proximity of the different surfaces in there.
