Thread Starter | Rockwool Question
A local distributor has 4" rockwool for a good price. However, it is sold in a bag that has 32 sq ft of rockwool. The bag is comprised of either 4 8'x1' panels or 8 4'x1' panels. I plan to make 6'x2' broadband absorbers. This would mean some cutting and side-by-side stacking to match the rockwool dimensions to the panels. My questions are: Is it okay to have several different pieces or rockwool put sibe-by-side together within a single absorber? Will it decrease performance to do it this way? Anything I should know? Thanks! Matt |

Shouldn't matter....I have cut and mixed and matched with 703 for years..Always get good results. By the way, you can get rockwool in 4'x2' panels. This would make your cutting easier.
