Mounting absorbers "across" coners -- much more effective?

Will my absorption panels (3" 6pcf rockwool) function substantially better if I they're mounted from one wall to the other across the corners (creating a triangle air space behind)..

..as opposed to just mounting them on flat to all the walls (with a bit of air space between the panel and wall still of course)


It's a very small booth (3 ft by 6 ft)


just trying to figure out the best panel sizes/setup before I start constructing them.

Yes straddling corners is always the best way to go.
