Designing a Studio

Hey... ok, so i am actually designing a studio for school and i've figured out all the problem frequencies in each room by doing my modal analysis...

In school i've learned about sepmeyer problem nodes which are the freq's within 1 hz of each other and Guildfords freq's which are more then 20hz of another freq... i know that construtcing a bass trap using the sepmeyer freqs can help solve this problem but when it comes to the guildford ones.... what is a good solution...some sort of wideband frequency absorber? if so any suggestions AND! how could i place them in the room ie:my control room?

any help is appreciated

How big is the room? Most likely you'd be better off using primarily broadband absorbtion. While your targeting MAY address a portion of the modal issues, dealing with a room that way exclusively will leave a large portion of the spectrum undamped in terms of decay times.

...

It is a vocal booth at 5Lx5Wx8H
and an iso booth at 9.4Lx6.5x8H

And both rooms have at least 1 window looking into the other room if that matters... of course the window would be beveled to a certain amount.
And as for room materials i was thinking somewhat of a porous hardwood floor and then putting a small carpet on top...

Any suggestions on the materials i should use for the floor and walls?... i was thinking hardwood floor and then just adding a rug in the middle of the room.
