There were a lot of good threads and info about diy bass traps and absorber panels. Any cool link or info on how to build cheap and effective diffusers? |

Cheapest diffuser I know: poly-cylindrical diffuser can be made of a single plywood board and place some rockwool so it won't ressonate.

There was a guy on Audio Asylum that built a replica of the RPG diffusor. Audio Asylum Also a friend of mine is taking blocks of styrofoam, measured an actual RPG Skyline and has covered his whole ceiling with them. Regards, Bruce |

I once read of a guy who used a book case with a variety of different books in it. Not to sure how well it worked but hey, if it works it works.

| Acoustic Calculator But I'd aim higher. Three inches deep is not enough for full-range diffusion. --Ethan |
