Those look nice, but I can build a 2x4 foot skyline diffusor for half that.

i just built 8 4x2 and 2 2x2 4-inch panels (using roxul 60 which is equivalent to OC705). cost of raw materials--roxul, wood for frames and felt for covering came out to about $50 per panel, not counting my labor which was about 90 minutes per panel.

the "equivalent" GIK panels (model 244) are $75 each (after shipping). i "saved" about $25 per panel building them myself, which means i paid myself about $17/hr.

the 8 panels have really helped my drum recordings and my monitoring situation........but i need at least another 8.

sometimes you just *GOTTA* DIY, ya know? i had a lot of fun (and will post my pics soon) but man it was a lot of hot, sweaty, itchy work. next time i'm just buying em from Glenn.

cheers,
wade
