Buying bass traps / acoustic panels in the UK?

Other than making everything myself using rockwool are there any places that sell good quality absorber panels or bass traps in the UK? Anyone got any recommendations? If it does come down to doing things the diy way, has anyone got any useful advice for someone that is UK based?

I'm assuming that will be quite an expensive option though!

Still a bargain for probably the most important thing you will buy. If you don't have the money to spend go to Wickes and buy bags of their high density mineral wool (£40 per bag) and make your own.

In various places I've home built some "bbc" bass traps as spec'd by a guy called Stuart Litobarski in Bath, and also used Karl Brown's tube traps from Absolute Audio, both based in the UK.

We ship to the UK all the time. Even for air shipping the cost adds only about 25 percent. And that's mostly because the boxes are so large and heavy. When we ship across the US to California the cost is about 10 to 15 percent. And that's for FedEx Ground service. It actually takes less time to get traps to Europe than to California!
