Thread Starter | Acustic guitar tuner for live applications
Hi. I'm using an acoustic guitar among a rock band. So, i'm looking for a tuner that works well in live applications, considering that i'm playing together with 2 electric guitars, bass, drums... I'm using a l.r.baggs M1 pickup, into a DI. I was thinking on the classic electric pedal tuners, as the korg pitchblack, boss, or maybe the new tc electronics polytune. thanks a lot for your advices, |

I use the Boss TU-2 with my acoustic gtr/piezo pickup - works very well, except on stages during daytime where there is very bright sunlight > can't see the LEDs very easily. Most of the time it isn't a problem My friend uses a Polytune with hic acoustic, and he loves it

TU-3 is nice too, more lights and a little 'lock on' sequence it does. Polytunes seem popular now- my TU-2 crapped out a few months back so I tried the Digitech/Hardwire version of the Polytune and got a lemon first try- bought the TU-3 right after. The actual Polytune pedal I've only heard positive things about, but I'm just used to Boss at this point.
