The digiface works fine under osx. I'm using it as we speak. If you don't want to go with it, then a magma expansion chassis with an rme card is the best way to go if you want high quality audio- just put whatever convertor you want on the end of it. If you went with the magma chassis, you could also consider the putting the Lynx cards into it, which also sound fantastic.
