Honestly M Teus , i think what you like even more than just the guitar tone is that type of playing and the inflections used , as far as guitar you could get a similar tone by just plugging in a tele or strat and whacking the pick-up in neck position or even a combination of middle pick-up and neck pick-up ,likewise a nice Joe Pass Epiphone will also do the trick and give you a fuller sound again , then it is up the guitar player and how he plays and his feel , even different picks give you different tones where guitar is concerned .
