I kept my 1884 and use it simply as a control surface (I use an Aroura 16 for I/O). I have not found another control surface that feels as good as the 1884, although I am open to suggestions.

I have used it alot for location recording.

For what its worth this was one of the very 1st units off the press and all these years later I a have had zero issues.
