Background: I used to have a 2X12 Marshall JMP combo that sounded excellent, but I now have a JMP head with a 4X12 cabinet instead. I love this even more, but I still miss the sound of the open back combo for some types of playing.

Not sure if it the same as a Legacy cabinet, but a while back I bought a Carvin 2X12 cabinet to have that as an option to plug my head into. BLECH! I sold that thing faster than you could say thin, honkin' piece of crap.

I was kind of surprised as I used to have a Carvin bass combo that sounded pretty decent.
