well, by latency i mean a setup in which you dont have a mixer. so the outs of your MIDI modules would go to the inputs of convertors, and the outs of convertors to the monitors. but then your compuiter eould haffta process the signal then send it on its outs...

and i'm saying this based upon that DAC-1 thread where Dave (or someone) spoke of bypassing the mixer altogether... the outs of the DAC to the ins of the moniitors...

do you do this? if so is it cleaner then first going into a mixer?
