In fact we limited the High Pass frequency range because I found that having a high pass up to 20 kHz was not very useful. A the maximum frequency of 10kHz, there is very few energy which pass thought the filter, and we saw that at 20kHz, the filter gaves almost no sound at all. So I decided to limit the maximal frequency to 10kHz, so you can have more precision on the "useful" frequency range.
Anyway, if it may be useful for some users, we may give an option to go up to 20kHz.

AirEQ does not need any upsampling.
In fact the equalization curves are already analog matched, and you have exactly the same curves and the same equalization quality at all sampling frequencies, even the lower ones (44.1 or 48 kHz). I would even say that the AirEQ equalization quality would be worse with oversampling, because oversampling introduces some high frequency roll off and/or ripple in the audio range, sometimes phase problems.. And I do not talked about processing delay and CPU load...
