I wasn't willing to say, "Well there is a door there screw it." It can be done. I am monitoring in this room, so I needed alot of bass absorption. Mid and highs are also taken care of with the bass traps so I just plastered my walls and corners with them, worked like a charm.

I'm sure Readytraps, Realtraps, and GIK are great traps, but I had heard the ready traps in person and went with those because they were the most cost efficient and looked nice. If I had the cash I would have gone with the realtraps but I couldn't justify spending as much on 3 realtraps as I got for 15 ready traps.

Good luck, Mike
Hey Mike:

Thanks for the props. You are kind and super easy to work with. Thanks for making our job easier.

Steve:
If you could resend the photos you attempted to deliver for your 3D Room rendering that would be great. You can email them directly, or use the upload feature on the website again. Thanks again for your interest in our company.

I too believe that most reputable companies offer information on their core materials e.g. RealTraps GIK, Modular Acoustics, Auralex and (in my case) Ready Acoustics LLC. If you do not see those materials listed or need information on what they use, contact them. I believe all companies would agreee that contacting the merchant directly is the best way to receive the quickest answers to your questions. If you need info on what a limp mass membrane is, or want to find out what materials make up the company's fabric, make sure you ask.

Knowledge is power.

Good luck!
