Hm, what´s the difference? Cannot see a sense in this feature, but it would be a nice trick to claim "you can boost it and boost it, it still will sound nice"
It`s good to have the possibility to boost in a large amount; also to be prepared for boosting program material isn`t enriched with highs enough. (e. g. for tape-restauration)
