Personally, it would drive me insane to not have a quicker way to get into the bigger live room from the control room....
like a door, maybe...
instead of out the door, down the hall, take a right, down the hall, first door on your right...move the mic 2 inches to the left.

Otherwise, I am jealous as hell. Sounds like you found yourself a cool space.
