my .02, which may be worth even less to you, is that you find a way to get past your hesitation and consider looking into the power of the buzz. it's a completely new world than when lexicon first started doing it's thing: word of mouth is everything, and places like this are petri dishes for the infectious lust a remarkable new product can inspire.
i strongly recommend reading _the purple cow_ and the last chapter of _the anatomy of buzz_, both of which can be gotten thru in a leisurely afternoon at a cafe. it could mean the difference between a satisfactory product launch with focused brand awareness, and an insanely hot, heavily backordered product launch with saturated brand awareness.
