| If you do a lot of work with samples, don't under-estimate how much RAM you'll need. 2gb is nothing if you're dealing with sample libraries like Vienna Symphonic (VSL).
Personally, when upgrading my DAW I always go for whatever is the top of the range model at the time of purchase. I bought a G4 dual 1.42ghz/2gb/3x120gb when that was king of Macs and it's lasted more than 4 years.
Time to upgrade for me now though. |
