A few that haven't been mentioned:

Publison DHM 89 B2 - amazing delay/pitch shifter. A knob/button/switch per function, 3 digit display per channel, great sound. I could go on about this unit, ... but I won't

Bel BD-80 - simple 2 second delay (options up to 8 seconds) with a great interface and cv input for delay time control. Very musical sounding delay. (also check out the others in the family - BD-240, 320 and BDE-2400,3200)

Yamaha E-1010 - another great sounding, easy to use delay

Other favorites that have been mentioned:

AMS DMX-1580 (I prefer the mono version with the added filter controls)

tc 2290

Effectron II (best under $100 delay made)

Lexicon PCM-41 - I refuse to spend current $$$$ for a -42

Tape echos of all kinds (Rolands, Echoplexi, Klemt Echolettes, Korg Stage Echo)
