Pretty much the only time Cubase asks to test anything on startup is when using the generic multimedia driver. This test is meaningless as you are going to change the driver to your audiocard's once Cubase is up so you can skip it. |
I'm a step ahead of you because I went to the devise set up on the main menu and it says Multimedia driver NOT M Audio ASIO driver. When I try and switch them over it says EASI or MME must be used one at a time. Use system try to disable /enable MME interface.? I'll try and do what you said though, and see if that works.
