| New PC ordered! Will there be problems w/ Logic 5.5 cause of 2Gb internal mem??
Yes we've ordered a new PC for our studio!! Pentium 4 Dual Core 2.13Ghz / 2Gb internal memory.
Right now I have: Pentium 3 w/ Logic Gold 4.1.1 on Windows 98.
We want to put XP on the new PC and run Logic Platinum 5.5.1 on it.
The problems we see arising as we prepare to replace the trusted old PC with the new one:
1) I heard that Logic Platinum 5.5.1 does not work proper.. if you have more than 1Gb internal memory. This sounds a little confusing since the more memory the better right? Is this true?
2) Say that this is true... I'm considering making the switch back to Cubase (still got the Atari 1040STf in the basement!). Question:
Can you load Logic 4.1 song files in Cubase (SX)?
I'd love to work with Logic.. but if that's not possible I'd love to work with Cubase no problem. |
