AirEQ is for the moment more intended to be a tracking EQ, because of the rather high maximal gains and sharp maximal Q factors. In many cases, you need more extreme settings for mixing purposes.
For mastering, you do not need such high gains and high Q factors, except if you have to remove some resonnances that have been left during the mixing stage.
Anyway, we may make an option to lower the maximal gain of the AirEQ's knobs, so it will be more suited to mastering purposes.
