As I understand it there is still currently no Algorithmix EQ's available to the Mac platform either? So have you only heard the AirEQ?
The Algorithmix Orange does sound very similar to the Weiss, although I still prefer the Weiss on most things although it's a lot cheaper then the Linear Phase version of the Weiss. I've tried the AirEQ demo, but in the end I've always found it too coloured (in a bad way) for mastering. The filters tend to ring & interact with the phase too much which makes it not very transparent. Having said that if you used it with wide Q's & at very low gain settings it may do an alright job. I also dislike & would never use the "Air" band.
I have a Sontec MES-432C arriving tomorrow, I'll let you know how that compares
