I totally agree.
I have little faith in Apple worrying about the welfare of use Quad owners.
So....I have decided to sell my Quad and go for a 2.66 Mac Pro.
The money I make from the sale will allow me to purchase a new Mac 35%more powerful
than my existing Quad plus full support from Apple...well at least for the next year or so
I have spoken to some Apple resellers and at the moment Quads are still selling for the same price if not more than a NEW 2.66 Mac Pro
As we are in a transitional period Quads still fetch a good price so I think you should jump whilst the value of your old machine is high.
