| I have a SM57 I bought several years ago from American Musical Supply. If I screw it apart in the middle there is one yellow and one green wire like your package #2. I think mine is a reissue made in Mexico but I'm not sure (no pun intended).
I also unscrewed the XLR connector and there is a red and blue wire going to it.
