I have a P-1 that I absolutely love on everything I have tried EXCEPT acoustic guitar. Awesome on snare, thumpin' on kick, lucious on vocals, bodacious on bass and near perfect on electric guitar. A sax player I had in last month went nuts over the sound of his horn thru the P-1 and ordered one for his modest home studio. The thing rocks, but not on acoustic. I keep trying it on acoustic guitar, wanting to like it but it just sounds flat and 2 demensional, no depth for me. I tried different guitars and different players, all no go. I have had better luck with my OSA mp-1 or API 312 but my current preferences above all of those are Pendulum Quartet or Avalon 737.

Oh yeah, I loved the P-1 with a 57 on the top of my leslie cab. About the only thing I have not tried it on yet is my Kawai Grand.

I do want another P-1 for stereo, but not for acoustic guitar. My 2 cents.
