Thing is, even though the "Acusonic Recording Process" isn't a real gadget you can sell to studios for an enormous sum of money (yet), it's still a real concept and deserves a monniker.

From what I read in your post, you capture the best analog takes and freeze them digitally, thus getting the best of both worlds. And, as you say, there's an emphasis on capturing true stereo images.

That last part intrigues me. Lately, I've come to believe that true stereo doesn't exist, and so I tend to hear things as dual mono instead. Probably because as I get older, that right brain/left brain bias is getting stronger all the time -- whether I want it to or not.

Maybe I'll should rethink this.

BTW, this is not the first time your Acusonic Recording Process has come up at Gearslutz.
