Would this be a repeat of what happened to the music industry 20-30 years ago? Big label run studios falling to smaller independent studios? Is there a movement of feature film audio post to smaller 'boutique' mix stages? A general scaling back in all areas? It's sad to see these big operations close, but to me, it's the people that are the most important, and my hope is all that great talent will rise again in new, smaller, and more economically sound operations.
