UAD plugs all have a very similar tone kinda like how some sequencers plug ins all have the same general tone....they are not like the hardware...good though...but dont fall for the marketing buy them because you like them not the hardware...I sold all mine because I got better distortion from soundtoys and better EQ from nebula
