silentgloves: Ha! Maybe it's my deficiency in mixing, but the file you're hearing is actually a 44.1/16 uncompressed wave file (as are all of my files on SC, unless of course they are doing something to it that I'm not aware of)! But thanks for the comments nonetheless. I didn't do too much boosting on the vocals, thought they certainly could be tamer. The original mix I had featured a warmer vocal, but given the conventions (too early?) of the genre, Restless figured it best to brighten them up a tad (mostly around 7-9khz, pretty mild eq with narrow bandwidth).
