The only REAL advantage of HD(X) over all the other DAWS including HDnative(3rd party hardware). Is the streamlined and working fact of recording 32 and up channels without any hickup, latency free headphone routing and plugins in RECORDING mode... Try to do that with Cubase/nuendo or logic. No way that I trust those for recording a big string section in a big good sounding studio, with producer next to me and 10K on cost for 1day recording...
