Well, to pick up the story... last night I had the honor of doing sound for the legendary Tom Rush. Without any real need to record the show, I offered to capture the evening with my TRUSTY TASCAM DR-05 and here is the results-- he starts into his signature tune, Joni Mitchell's "Urge For Going."
The device is sitting on the armrest of the one chair that was not taken in the sold-out house, maybe twenty-five feet from our subject onstage.....
