From what I understand, she's asking fans that want to perform with her to rehearse with them and then perform with them onstage.
Where's the problem?
If one of your favorite artists invited you to do the same would you demand payment?
You were invited to perform - accept the invitation or don't, but the outrage over payment is ridiculous.
