Trying to break into video to offer as an additional service on top of the audio stuff. I use my 550D on every gig and recently taped a gig with it and a 5D Mk II. The plan is to purchase a 5D Mk II within a couple of weeks for the live gigs that require video.
Are you guys using and DSLR rigs for video? I plan on getting a PS Productions DSLR rig (
Complete DSLR Rig Package, follow focus,15mm rods,tripod mount,articulting arms. | eBay) for better stability and follow focus. Looking for opinions.
Update: Just bought myself a PS Productions DSLR rig, articulating arm, follow focus and matte box, a new 70-200 F/4L lens, filters, a new battery grip and some more things, this vid thingie is growing on me! Next up, a new camera (EOS 5D Mk II/III or Blackmagic Cinema Camera).
