Well, there is some interaction between the two in a Sub/Satellite speaker configuration. Is this what you use for main monitoring? Just remember, LFE is a channel ( like 'Left') and the Subwoofer is a bandwidth extender. Both have to be calibrated. The Subwoofer needs to be setup against the other speakers, and then the LFE channel can be calibrated during source monitoring.
I guess I'm just not warming up to the idea of using a plugin to simulate a monitoring environment. Sounds a little VooDoo to me...
