have HD3 with 1 X 192 + DA 16X on HD card now. use the apogees to break out to a folcrom. am not aware of any timing differences that way. use 192s for analog inserts for ADC. 16X DA is 2dB hotter than 192s out of the box. you can adjust them, but i use it like that. a little hotter to folcrom is cool for me.
