i disagree with those saying not a lot of processing was involved... i think rubin was thinking out the box on the license to ill production, and i can definitely here a lot of fx on the 808 snares and crazy panning on the hats, there's also great compression/eq going on.. i love how they even reversed the 808 on paul revere
