What kind of mic would be good for a Thom Yorke type of voice with the theatrics of Freddy Mercury? So far, I've tried using a tlm103 and ADK TT area 51 into ->Purple AUdio Biz OR DW Fearn -> Distressor

the ADK sounds far much better than the tlm103 but i want something a little more grittier so it's not as pristine as radiohead's vocals. hi end as well as middle end mics.
