I have sympathy on both sides...
This forum is more for producer/engineers than songwriters I guess. Some great info here - a lot regarding potential purchases and technical help.
BUT...maybe we all get bogged down with the technical nonsense. Simple is beautiful, but doing things the correct way is also good too.
