I own PT, Sequoia and Pyramix. PT has great editing workflows like shuffle mode and grid mode. Plus it's rock solid on a mac and now open to use with any ASIO interface since V10. It is the most affordable of the three and has a nice clean GUI. Everything is in plain site and easy to find. Pyramix has the most elegant work flow. You can tell it was designed for classical editing. Not just in the sound, but the fade editor is fantastic. The included effects are very good. If you're doing mostly classical, you won't need to spend more on plugs or CD authoring software. At a cost a $1,000USD, it's a good value. Sequoia is the best of both, but with a huge price tag. Both PMX and Sequoia are PC only. A big disadvantage. Plus over in the US, very limited tech support for PMX and Magix. But that's becoming the norm for many of these companies.
