Presence on sampled snare or hats: makes them crack, that sensation of being hit in the face. Follow up with generous slow attack fast release compression, gives it the right kind of attitude and aggression.

Sheen on VI synths: makes them sound more alive, sit easier in the mix. Makes sampled beats and drums snap.

Lift on bass: brings up all the harmonics in a unique way, gives the bass way more presence without eating up the low end real estate. Makes synth bass growl and buzz.

Open at o'clock, Presence at 3 o'clock, FF off: Anything you need to sit waaaayyy in the back of the mix.

Shimmer at 3 o'clock, FF off: pads and synths that buzz and float, zero weight, awesome ambience. Percussion that hovers on top of the mix.

That's just a few, there are no limits with this piece. On whole mixes it gives everything a polished feel, sounds expensive to me.

Hi
I have just ordered one!
I have 2 options here....i could place it on my masters and either before or after a C1?
or
Put it over a group and assign to it as required then out through my C1?

I like the idea of having the whole mix option but the group idea would be cool too and i don't want to misuse it...or spoil its benefit.
Any tips?...
