Fist of all I like a lot CLA as a mixer.
I like Dave Pensado as a Mixer and I have gratitude for putting a weekly show as Pensado's Place.
But I think the CLA show probably had big expectations for most of CLA Fans and other engineers.
But to be honest, I was so disappointed.
Nothing new, now new advice, no tricks, even Batters Box was so "whatever", he did not even mention which compressors he may prefer.
I felt like CLA was not so open to share more inside mixing tips as other mixers that were invited at Pensado's Place.
Too bad, I think we all know how great, successful, strong and competitive CLA is, so we need to listen the same stuff and same kind of jokes always?? specially in a techy show as Pensado's Place.
Too sad, I was expecting more.
Having a mixer of CLA's caliber I was expecting to learm a lot, what a difference from the info and knowledge that Michael Brauer, JJ Puig, Andrew Scheps, Bob Power, Manny Marroquin and many others shared.
