These are what I consider to be the delay Hall of Fame:
1) Lexicon PCM42-Still going strong!!! Works great on everything. Sounds great with analog tape or DAW tracks doen't matter.
a)PCM41- The older brother of the 42. While not as sexy, it still gets the job done.
)TC2290- Everything you need right on the front. Only two drawbacks 1) Doesn't sound great on everything 2)It was never true stereo. Other than that a true classic.
)The AMS 1580- Somone covered it earlier.
)Roland SDE3000- Small with no vents(so it overheats), but sounds great. The display was lame, but hey it was the 80's.
)Lexicon Super Prime Time- Super delay!!!
)Yamaha D5000-A secret weapon, versatile with all kinds of funky patches. Bob Clearmountains favorite.
)Sony D7-Special effects and cool delays.
)Any delay by Delta Labs.
)One of my secret weapons- the Symetrix 606, the closest thing to a PCM42. Lousy display(basically none). But sounds as close to the real thing(I just run it through a pair of SPX90's in bypass) and I get that natural 80's digital roll off.
)There are so many pedals, spring reverbs, and tape echo machines to name.
