My apologies, It was after midnight and I was trying to troubleshoot this and type on my phone lol.

So I have a 002, previously owned a 001.
On the 002 I removed all optical cables and set the clock to internal. I get pops and clicks on all 8 analog inputs when recording or monitoring those inputs. If I play back those recordings, they pop in the same spot they did when it was recording, but nowhere new.
If I open an old session I did with my 001, I do not notice any pops or clicks during playback .
