Well since there's not a forum dedicated to treating your room...

I guess I'll just post this in the Low End Theory forum since I'm poor. This is just a copy paste from another forum:

Here's a general layout of my room. As usual, this is my spare room that I want to be my mixing environment. I'm just looking for some help as to how I should lay it out (where my desk should go) and where I should start with some future treatment.

At the bottom I'm posting a pic of the room from overhead. The ceiling is 7ft 8in high. The bed is staying where it is, but I have two options as to where to place my desk (1 and 2). A piano will be put wherever I don't put my desk.

If I put my desk in spot 1 the walls on my right and left will be closer. If I put it in 2 then I'll have a window directly behind me. I don't know if either of those is good or bad. Haha.

My floor is pergo I believe.

Also, I have some yorkville monitors. How far away from the wall should they be? I know you don't want them right up against it, right?

Suggestions and opinions?
