so then why buy a studio monitor and I was more or less replying to the actual OP instead of digressing into computer speakers which btw those klipsch speakers have been discontinued.
Altec Lansing is probably the best bang for the buck computer speaker I've used in the last 5 years. I own the Octane 2.1 set.
