Never used it, but again have heard great things about D16's emulation. Me personally, I really like coming across other peoples 'holy grail' 808 kits and kick variations. There are plenty out there and a lot of good ones. So its Battery for me all the way. TBH the only time I've used the real thing was many years ago, I had no what it was, it seemed limited and basic.... and kinda fake
